"Get a pool inspection from ASP prior to purchasing a home!"
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! I'm in the process of purchasing a home. My home inspector offers and is qualified to inspect pools but I choose to use ASP-Schertz for a separate inspection. Here is why. My home inspector would have noted: pool (check), water (check), pump (check), circulates water (check). I'm in no way saying my inspector is incompetent. On the contrary, but he is limited on what he's allowed to inspect.
For a minimal fee that will save you thousands during the purchasing process ASP-Shertz was able to identify: Gas leak from the Spa Heater, Spa Blower nonoperational, chemical so unbalanced that it requires the pool to be completely drained. Pool motor not operational, pool blower on it's last leg, pool filter leaks AND the entire pool will need to be resurfaced. My advise get a pool inspection from a qualified company-ASP Schertz!
On a personal note I'd like to start by saying Thank You to Tina for scheduling me so quickly through Facebook Messenger. Your friendly attitude and customer service is on another level. The professional manner and the patience you've handled all my queries must be commended.
Doug, Thank you for taking me to pool school today. You are incredibly knowledgeable in your trade which showed in seconds during the troubleshoot of the pool inspection. I was so overwhelmed but you put me at ease after your simple explanation of how each piece works with each other. I'm now more confident than before about undertaking the responsibility of owing a pool.
