Before jumping in the pool industry, Doug George worked over 30 years providing his community with high-quality emergency care as a paramedic. About one year ago Doug identified a business opportunity in the pool industry that soon transpired to owning an ASP franchise with his wife, Tina.

“We were swimming pool owners who found a need for reliable and customizable pool care in our local area,” said Tina George. “Franchise ownership piqued Doug’s interest after spending the last summer working part-time servicing pools in his community. His quick growth in pool service accounts made us consider starting a full-time business in the pool industry.”

The Georges began their search for franchising options that were available to start-up in their hometown. They discovered many different business opportunities but made the decision to go with ASP.

“We want to stand out in the pool industry,” said Tina. “So, an America’s Swimming Pool Company franchise made the most sense for us. Plus, we love the looks and calls we get when you see one of our ASP wrapped, Texas-sized trucks going down the road.”

Schertz has been home to the Georges for the past 12 years, and they couldn’t imagine starting a business anywhere else. Their love for their community and dedication to their work is evident. The Georges are not afraid of hard work and putting in long hours to make sure their clients are satisfied with their services. This Schertz franchise is destined to flourish with a power couple like Doug and Tina.

Alicia is a wife and loving mother to 4 boys and our amazing social media/marketing manager. Alicia enjoys relaxing in her own pool on her downtime. Transitioning from mom/wife life to her social media/marketing manager position was a breeze as Alicia captures what ASP Schertz is all about which is our customers and providing quality pool maintenance, repairs and renovations.
