I called ASP on Monday about my noisy booster pump and some other issues I needed to address. They came out the very next day and assessed my issues. My booster pump had gone bad. They went to the trouble of seeing if it was still under warranty which they did not have to do. After they determined it was not under warranty they sent me a very clear and concise proposal for the work that needed to be done. They even pointed out a few things to me (which I knew needed to be addressed but haven’t had the time to do so myself) and offered to take care of those during their visit for a very reasonable price. They were back out at my house to fix and address the issues on Thursday. They saved me time, were very professional, punctual, polite, and delivered a world-class experience. If you have a pool project or service need I would highly recommend you use the services of ASP. I am without a doubt a customer/client of theirs for life and I will be recommending them to all of my friends, family, neighbors, etc.

If you want to enjoy your pool and have complete peace of mind, you must work with ASP. I have worked with several different pool service companies in the past few years. Hands down ASP is the best company! Our swimming pool was 30+ years old and looked every year of it. The plaster was very worn, tiles are broken etc. We needed help with considering how to update it and Jamie Penna did a great job! He showed us many options from several providers and guided us through making the selections. We chose an aggregate plaster with quartz pieces in it and a dark blue tile and it looks beautiful. Jamie and his very capable crew also installed a LoopLoc safety cover and changed the system over to a salt system. We are looking forward to years of use of our “new” pool and heartily recommend Jamie Penna and ASP!

We always receive excellent service for our pool. No matter what condition we have it n they are able to clear it up. Since we started using them 2+ years ago our pool maintenance is easy and much less expensive. Jamie even checks on the pool if he is in the area. After having a liner job done seven years ago that turned out to have not been done exactly right. Jamie Penna with ASP was a breath of fresh air. Jamie was always polite, kind, efficient, quick and in a wonderful mood. Jamie always seemed as happy to see us as we were to see him. When Jamie and his crew tore out our old liner my husband was not home. My husband's comment to me was “Other than the liner is gone, I would have had no idea that a group of four guys had been in our yard working.” Everything was always cleaned up better than when they arrived. When they installed the liner, I feel they went over and beyond what any other company would have done for us. Not only were they fast, but my yard was also always cleaned of any debris and any questions I had were answered without the condescending tone that some company’s use. I called ASP and asked them for a quote. They responded quickly and showed no pressure to have them do the work. I was impressed. Jaime explained to me what they would do and left it up to me to explore other companies. No pressure and I liked that. When it came time to do the work, the salt conversion, filter check and new sand in my filter were done before the re-plastering. Today the plaster people came and they an outstanding job. My pool looks brand new and we are completely satisfied. ASP says it will take a couple of weeks to get everything stabilized and if the service is as good as what was performed the last couple of days and I have no doubt it will, we will be extremely happy. I highly recommend these folks for your pool needs.

I called ASP for a quote on Oct. 21 and Jamie came out right away. We discussed what was needed and he sent me an estimate. I decided on a liner pattern, it was ordered and the work began Nov. 5. The entire process took two days. He came back a week later just to make sure everything was good. It was. I am planning to have him replace my pump and surrounding pipes later in the season.

Our pool was almost 25 years old and badly in need of an upgrade. We spoke with several pool companies that service our community and ASP came up with the best remodel plan hands down at a very competitive price. The aggregate re-plaster job was flawless and beautifully done, and the new pool coping and decking (done in overlay pavers) gave the pool area a beautiful, elegant and easy maintenance look. The new paving stone was laid over an old existing stamped concrete which saved the cost and mess of demolition. We are extremely pleased!

Our pool was in desperate need of remodeling and repair … not only was the liner in need of replacement but a 20+ foot section of the concrete apron on one side had sunk down 4 inches, the skimmer was cracked and leaking, we wanted to install additional return lines and have the pool apron resurfaced and stained. The 3 most important factors/considerations in doing a project this size are the integrity/ skill of the project manager, the quality of the workmanship and products used and of course the price. After careful consideration of proposals/estimates from three local companies we decided on Jamie Penna from ASP. Quite simply Jamie appeared to be the most personable, energetic, confident and knowledgeable of the three local companies. As is the case with many complex projects there are always unknowns and uncertainties. Our project was no different and we had a few unanticipated surprises like 4 inches of rain coming down the day after the liner was removed which resulted in groundwater pushing up through the concrete floor of the pool. Being the worrywart that I am, I was a nervous wreck when I saw the water bubbling up through … Jamie, on the other hand, remained calm, cool and collected … he knew exactly how to attack the problem … he hooked up one of his services pumps to my irrigation well and pumped the groundwater level down for 48 hours straight … he knew exactly when it was the right time to patch the concrete floor and installed the liner … problem solved. Jamie and his team handled every phase of the project with that same level of skill and knowledge. The project came out fantastic … the liner selection, pool apron, skimmer, returns all look and work great. Even though the team had to manage through a few unanticipated surprises there was no surprise in the final bill … Jamie and the ASP team delivered the project with great skill and integrity within the budget as committed. Rarely have I seen a team where every person on the team (Jamie, Chuck, Johnny, Eric and all the others) who were as friendly and of a common mindset towards excellent customer satisfaction. Thanks guys for a job well done. Without question, we plan to use Jamie and the ASP team for all of our future pool projects.

ASP is the fourth pool servicing company that we have tried in the short period that we’ve been living in our home on Johns Island. Prior to moving to this home, we’ve had homes that have pools and I was the one that both serviced and maintained the pools in a 35-year span. The three prior pool companies that we have had had less experience than I did and they were trying to put the wool over my eyes. My wife insisted that it was time for someone else to take care of the pool. One day I walked into ASP to purchase salt and met Crystal. After a short conversation, I agreed to have her come over to our house to check out the complex system that our pool had with automated valves and a computer board that only an MIT graduate would understand. I was very impressed with Crystal with both her knowledge and professionalism. After engaging ASP, we met Josh who is an absolute asset to ASP as well as Becka who comes in once a week to take care of our pool. Had it not been for Crystal, I would still be taking care of the pool myself. We really feel that it is the staff of a company that is the reason for its success. If Crystal and Josh would relocate to another company, I would be following them to take care of our pool.

ASP is a professional pool company that services many of our pools. They have been very helpful especially with last-minute requests. We are very happy with their service.

I have been using ASP pool service for over 5 years and have been extremely satisfied with them. They have re-tiled my pool as well as put in a new heater, filter and a lot of other new equipment. My pool is over 20 years old and Jamie is always able to troubleshoot the problem and fix whatever is causing the problem. Jaimie is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the pool and his work ethic is exemplary. He tells you when he can come to fix it and he is there on time. He then stays until the problem is fixed and the prices are always fair (and better than the competitors). Our regular pool service is done weekly during the summer and the pool always looks fabulous when they are done. I can not say enough great things about ASP pool service. I recommend them without any reservation and have recommended them personally to many of my friends.
