Concrete Pool Installation in Tucson

Custom Concrete Pools Designed Around Your Backyard

A concrete pool gives you the freedom to choose a shape, size, depth, and finish that suit how you want to enjoy your outdoor space. We provide concrete pool installation services for Tucson homeowners who want a durable, purpose-built pool instead of a standard, pre-formed design.

Our process starts with a design consultation focused on your preferences and budget. We help define the custom pool design, coordinate construction, guide you through applicable local requirements, and provide updates as work progresses.

Why Homeowners Choose Concrete & Gunite Pools

Concrete pools offer lasting durability, extensive customization, affordability considerations, and surfaces that can be repaired when needed. They’re especially well suited to homeowners who want more control over a pool’s dimensions and contours than a pre-formed system allows.

Gunite Pools also support long-term ownership. With proper maintenance, a gunite pool can last 20 years or more before replacement or resurfacing may be needed. Routine cleaning, equipment care, interior surface maintenance, and eventual pool resurfacing should all factor into your planning.

Important advantages of a concrete pool include:

• Flexible design: Pool concrete can be formed into custom shapes instead of being limited to a standard shell.
• Durable construction: Concrete is built for long-term use when paired with consistent pool care.
• Repairable surfaces: Interior surfaces can be repaired or resurfaced as their condition changes.
• Personalized appearance: Color and surface selections let you shape the finished pool’s look and feel.

Customize Your Concrete Pool

Your pool should reflect how you plan to use it, whether for family recreation, exercise, relaxation, or entertaining. During design, we discuss practical choices such as the pool’s shape, dimensions, depth, interior color, and relationship to the surrounding backyard.

Gunite & Shotcrete Construction

Gunite is a dry concrete mix, while shotcrete is a wet concrete mix. Both are used in pool construction and allow the pool structure to be formed according to the approved custom pool design. Our concrete pool builders can explain how the planned construction method fits your project.

Colors & Interior Surfaces

Pool gunite is available in a variety of colors. A pebble surface made from river rock is another option for creating a distinct interior appearance and texture. Because finish selections can influence ongoing care and future resurfacing decisions, we explain the available choices before they’re finalized.

How Concrete Pool Installation Works

A successful installation depends on clear decisions before construction and steady communication throughout the project. We oversee installation-related work from the initial design consultation through the construction phases and first swim.

Your project can include these key stages:

• Design consultation: We discuss intended use, design preferences, material choices, and budget priorities.
• Project planning: We define the layout and coordinate decisions involving circulation, plumbing, electrical components, pool equipment, finishes, coping, decking, and required safety provisions.
• Permitting coordination: We help guide the project through applicable local requirements before construction proceeds.
• Construction oversight: We coordinate the installation stages while keeping the approved design at the center of the work.
• Finishing and startup: We oversee the final phases leading to pool startup and your first swim.

Our proprietary technology supports project communication and helps keep you informed. You can follow updates and see when decisions are needed without having to guess about the project’s status.

Planning for Pool Permitting in Tucson

The City of Tucson requires a permit to construct an in-ground pool, spa, hot tub, or pond designed to hold standing water. The applicable documents, reviews, inspections, and safety provisions vary by project and property. Permit approval and required inspections remain subject to the City of Tucson and other relevant authorities, whose processes may affect scheduling and construction checkpoints.
