Job Title: Swimming Pool Service/Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
A swimming pool maintenance technician checks and corrects chemical levels in a pool during each service visit. Will be required to perform most basic skills ie., use of skimming nets and vacuum systems. Technician must be well-versed in removing stains in the pool and emptying pool filters. Mechanical knowledge of the working parts of water pumps, chemical dispenser systems, backflow valves and chlorinators is an essential job function. A maintenance technician must possess the ability to monitor and diagnose these systems and then obtain replacement parts and perform repairs as needed. They should have at least minimal knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. The technician must be well acquainted with installation and repair procedures and have the physical strength to carry equipment and parts.
Other: Must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing. This position has the opportunity for advancement to level of manager for a large territory.
